Google is adding AI features to Gmail. Now, while reading emails, you will have an AI assistant in the sidebar that summarizes messages, helps you write emails, and even replies to messages for you. But here's a tip from me... at least for a while, make sure to check what the AI has written before hitting the “Send” button 😄

Second-hand prices of electric vehicles are dropping much faster compared to gasoline vehicles. As I mentioned in my article for Inc. Turkey last month, one of the factors that could challenge the future of electric vehicles is the risk of their second-hand values decreasing rapidly. According to newly released data, the average second-hand value of electric vehicles has dropped by 29.5% in the past year.

There is a 99.99% probability that Artificial Intelligence will wipe out humanity within the next 100 years 😱 This isn’t my opinion, but that of an AI researcher. Earlier this year, in a survey of 2778 researchers, more than half estimated the probability of AI causing human extinction to be 5%. Of course, these predictions aren't based on rigorous scientific research. Since the term Artificial Intelligence was first introduced in 1955, such scenarios have always been discussed. Today, the pace of AI development is both astonishing and, at times, alarming. However, instead of focusing on doomsday scenarios, we should concentrate on creating regulations that ensure AI is used for beneficial purposes rather than malicious ones. It's not the technology we should fear, but the people who misuse it.

Elon Musk posted another provocative tweet! In response to the announcement of the OpenAI partnership at Apple's WWDC 2024 event, he stated that for security reasons, he would ban the use of iPhones and Macs by employees in all his companies if Apple integrates ChatGPT into their devices. If you ask me, the real reason behind this message isn't security concerns, but tension stemming from competition with OpenAI.
